Politics can never get cheaper and vulgar than the present day situation. Scams all over. 2010 turned out to be a year of scams. Politics has taken a center stage in small screen and all news channels must have got highest TRP and maximum viewerships atleast in cities. But sad news was news makers became brokers for politicians.
Times Now which was going very hard on almost all scams keeping some ought to be confidential documents, cross questioning politicians and their political motives behind the scams, was kept mum to the connection of some famous news editors to the scam tainted politicians.
The Nira Radia tapes have certainly ruined the credibilty of News channels in India. I was happy that atleast almost all english news channels are neutral and was thinking really high of them, I even thought English Media as Mouth piece of Common Man of India. But Nira Radia tapes showcased that comman man of India cannot believe a system in a country ruled by cheap politicians.
